Who we are

The Gift Smith is a brand of RelevAInt, LLC (“we” or “us”). We make personalized digital gifts from the stories you share. Your Song is our first product. You can reach us at support@yourgiftsmith.com.

Who can use the service

You must be at least 18 years old to make or buy a song.

What you get

Your Song is a one-time purchase of $29 (US dollars). It includes:

• a full personalized song written from your story, in two original versions;
• unlimited revisions for the same song gift after purchase, each creating a new version based on your notes;
• MP3 downloads of your versions;
• a private gift page you can send to the person the song is for.

Before you pay, you can hear a 90-second preview of each original version. Full-length songs are available after purchase. The optional lyric keepsake is a separate $9 purchase: a personalized printable lyric print with a code that opens your song’s gift page. You get 5 × 7, 8 × 10 and 11 × 14 files as PDF and JPG. It is a digital download only, with no physical print or shipping.

How songs are made

Songs are created with AI music tools, using your words and details as the source material. They are not performed by a human recording artist. Because of this:

• each version can sound different, including the melody, voice and delivery;
• we cannot guarantee exact lyric wording, that every detail you shared will appear, or a specific voice;
• a revision creates a new version, and the melody may change. Your earlier versions stay available.

We cannot imitate the voice of a specific real artist, and you should not request one.

What you share with us

You are responsible for the stories, photos, notes and videos you give us. You confirm that:

• you have the right to share them, and permission from the people shown in any photos or videos;
• they are not unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or meant to embarrass or harm someone;
• they do not include lyrics or other material copied from someone else’s work.

You give us permission to use what you share only to make, deliver and support your song and gift page. We will not use your story, song, photos or videos in our marketing without your separate permission. We may decline or remove content that breaks these terms.

How you can use your song

Once you have paid, you may download, keep, play and share your song for personal, non-commercial use. That includes giving it as a gift, playing it at a private event, and posting it on your personal social media accounts.

Commercial use is not included. For example, you may not sell the song, distribute it to streaming services, or use it in advertising or monetized content.

AI-generated music may receive limited copyright protection, and other songs may share similar musical elements. We do not promise that your song is unique in every respect or that it can be registered for copyright.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. You are charged when you complete checkout. Your full song unlocks once the payment is confirmed.

Refunds

Our refund policy explains when you can get your money back and how to ask.

Keeping your song

We work to keep your song page and gift page available. If you buy the lyric keepsake, we keep that song’s gift page online for as long as we operate Your Song, so the printed code keeps working. If we ever stop operating, we will email you at least 60 days before so you can download your song. Download your MP3 files to keep your own copy.

Disclaimers

Apart from what we promise in these terms and our refund policy, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without other warranties, to the extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the song or keepsake involved. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version posted when you make a purchase applies to that purchase.
